About Images to PDF

Images to PDF creates one PDF from a mixed set of JPG, PNG and WebP files. Every image becomes a PDF page, and the sortable preview makes it easy to decide the final document order before generation.

Common use cases

Combine scans into one document

Turn photographed receipts, forms, notes or scanned pages into one ordered PDF instead of sending many separate image files.

Create a shareable photo document

Group screenshots, reference images or project photos into a single file that keeps a predictable page order.

Prepare image-based submissions

Create one PDF for portals or workflows that accept PDF documents but not a collection of JPG, PNG or WebP files.

Reorder pages before export

Arrange the selected images in the exact sequence you want before creating the final document.

How it works

1

You select one or more supported image files and arrange them in page order.

2

Each image becomes a PDF page while its source proportions are fitted into the selected page layout.

3

The browser assembles the pages into a single PDF document.

4

The generated PDF is downloaded as a new file; the source images are not modified.

Privacy & file handling

Image-to-PDF assembly is browser based

Supported images are read and combined into the PDF in the browser. This avoids requiring the source images to be uploaded to Zavilo merely to assemble the document.

Limitations and important notes

  • An image-based PDF is not automatically searchable text; use OCR separately when selectable text is required.
  • Very large or numerous source images can consume substantial browser memory during PDF creation.
  • Image quality in the PDF cannot exceed the resolution of the original image files.
  • A PDF page layout can add margins or scaling when the image aspect ratio differs from the selected page size.
